About the Role
The Head of Digital Assets Technology at Franklin Templeton is responsible for the performance and results of the digital assets technology organization. This role focuses on capability expansion, operational uptime, accuracy, and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead teams in development, design, and optimization of digital asset technologies.
- Oversee planning and delivery of blockchain-based platforms, tokenization frameworks, and security solutions.
- Drive strategic and operational plans, ensuring compliance and risk management.
- Manage vendor relationships and integrate next-generation technologies.
- Coach and mentor technology teams in software and hardware development.
Additional Responsibilities
Analyze current business practices to leverage digital assets, negotiate partnerships, and develop enterprise-wide training and documentation. Responsible for budget management and achieving performance KPIs including platform uptime, innovation pipeline, regulatory compliance, and client engagement metrics.
Required Experience & Education
5–10 years of progressive leadership in technology within financial services. Specialized knowledge in blockchain, cryptography, and digital asset management is a plus. Solid background in software system design and development is required.
