Overview

Franklin International, a leading manufacturer of adhesives, coatings, and sealants, is seeking an Assistant Marketing Communications Manager for the Construction Marketing Department. This role reports to the VP of Construction Marketing and is responsible for developing, managing, and implementing strategic internal and external marketing communications initiatives for the Construction Products Division.

Fundamental Job Tasks

The role includes:

  • Increasing awareness of the Titebond brand via creative social media strategies.
  • Managing social media campaigns and engagement tracking across YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
  • Creating and executing digital communication programs to enhance online exposure and product sales.
  • Overseeing content development including SEO blog posts, digital advertising programs, and video production.
  • Collaborating with the marketing team and external agencies to ensure a consistent brand image.
  • Supporting product management and retail division to maintain accurate content on retailer websites.
  • Managing marketing interns and building trust among internal teams.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position will manage marketing interns.

Knowledge and Skills

A BS in Marketing or a related field is preferred with 1-2 years experience, or 5+ years of equivalent experience. Must have excellent communication skills, computer proficiency, and demonstrated expertise in social media channels, detail management, and creative problem-solving.

Working Conditions

The role is primarily office-based with occasional exposure to manufacturing and trade show environments. Travel (up to 20%) including short-notice or weekend trips may be required.
