About the Role
Our client is an international organization operating across multiple sites in Europe. They aim to enhance their commercial performance by structuring, validating, and automating their data. The position reports to the European Commercial Directorate within a multicultural environment undergoing significant data transformation. The Data Analyst Europe will lead the construction, automation, and analysis of multi-site commercial data, focusing on reporting, analysis & piloting, and business recommendations.
Production & Automation of Reporting
Responsibilities include the production, updating, and validation of weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports, with monthly reporting to the operational manager. This involves constructing and updating European commercial KPIs (multi-site, multi-ERP) and creating/automating Power BI / Advanced Excel dashboards (TCD, VBA, Power Query). A key aspect is ensuring the quality, consistency, and reliability of data from various ERPs/sites, alongside automating processes and optimizing data flows.
Commercial Analysis & Piloting
This section covers the extraction and analysis of data related to volumes, prices, margins, lead times, and forecasts, broken down by product, client, and market. It also includes implementing alerts, controls, and performance indicators. Active contribution to the PIC (Industrial and Commercial Plan) is expected, involving advanced monitoring of ongoing projects, establishing milestones, reporting progress, and supplying commercial data.
Internal Support & Communication
Prepare professional materials such as analyses, charts, and summaries for meetings and committees. Engage in regular interactions with European plants, commercial teams, and industrial teams. Constant communication in English with various entities is required. Other European languages are a plus.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Data Analysis (reporting/commercial/industrial).
- Expert proficiency in Power BI, Power Query, and Advanced Excel (TCD, VBA, automation).
- Experience in cleaning, structuring, and automating multi-source data.
- High degree of autonomy: ability to structure a new data environment, make decisions, propose KPIs and methods.
- Fluent English; other European languages are a plus (not mandatory).
- Strong analytical skills, rigor, business acumen, and ability to formulate actionable recommendations.
- Proficiency in preparing clear and professional PowerPoint presentations.
- SQL or Python skills are appreciated but not essential.
