About the role
Data Business Analyst - Framatome DSI
Framatome's IT and Digital Solutions department is responsible for defining and deploying the group's IT and Digital solutions. It includes the Data Competency Center, which is in charge of implementing and operating the Data platform (Azure/Fabric and DataBricks) and supporting business units in implementing their use cases.
This Data Competency Center wishes to strengthen its team by recruiting its future Business Analyst, a key role at the interface between business units, data, and the platform. The main challenge of the mission is to be the link between business needs and the Data platform's solutions, leveraging analytical, technical, and relational skills. A knowledge of the SAP environment and data model (FICO/Manufacturing) will be a plus.
Your Missions:
Collection and Understanding of Business Needs:
- Gather and analyze stakeholder needs (quality, plants, finance, operations, etc.).
- Describe data and data flow processes (UML).
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability.
- Anticipate and contribute to the implementation of new data sources and interfaces.
Data Extraction, Preparation, and Management:
- Identify data sources with business units and application competency centers (ERP SAP, MES Apriso, CRM, databases, etc.).
- Define data cleaning, transformation, and structuring rules to make them usable.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability.
- Follow data governance processes and rules.
Data Analysis and Interpretation:
- Perform descriptive, exploratory, and sometimes predictive analyses.
- Identify trends, correlations, and optimization levers.
Visualization and Reporting of Results:
- Describe and specify business use cases: source data, consistency checks, transformation, formatting, etc., for development teams.
- Describe data models and the final Data Product.
- Present results in a pedagogical manner adapted to the audience (Management, operational staff, etc.).
- Tell a “data story” to facilitate decision-making.
- Formulate operational recommendations based on analyses.
Team Support:
- Share specifications and ensure their proper understanding by development and Data Engineer teams.
- Contribute to the writing of test plans and preparation of tests.
- Contribute to the scoping of business requests.
Continuous Improvement and Performance:
- Propose areas for improvement in business and DSI processes.
Technical Environments:
- Applications: ERP SAP S4H, MES Apriso, PLM 3DX, Documentum, Semarchy.
- Cloud: Azure, Fabric.
- Databricks (notebooks, jobs, clusters, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog).
- Languages: Python, SQL, Scala (optional).
- Big Data: Apache Spark.
Profile:
With a Master's degree (BAC+5) in Information Systems Engineering or equivalent, you have at least 5 years of experience in this role. Beyond your technical skills, you are able to Cooperate, Listen, Analyze, Create, Organize, Achieve, and Manage.
