Job Overview
The Environment Health and Safety Technician is responsible for ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local safety and environmental laws. This role requires independent work in varied environments including offices, remote sports productions, and live events, while leading programs that affect multiple stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business departments to manage safety programs.
- Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies and risk assessments.
- Conduct hazard reviews and coordinate workplace inspections.
- Coordinate with consultants, FSOs, freelancers, and interns.
- Manage production safety, weather monitoring, and hazardous materials shipping.
- Travel extensively to support production and live event needs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental, or Fire Safety or equivalent experience.
- Experience in an EHS management position and familiarity with OSHA standards (29 CFR 1910 and 1926).
- Strong communication skills with proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to work under time and budget constraints and exercise professional judgment in stressful conditions.
Nice to Have
- Advanced degree in an EHS-related field.
- Relevant OSHA and ISO safety training courses.

Compensation Insight
The pay rate for this role is approximately $40.00 per hour in high cost areas such as New York City and Los Angeles, and $33.25 per hour in other US locations.
