Today, sumptuous rooms with views from Nice to Monaco, Michelin-starred Provençal and Mediterranean cuisine and a lively pool club keep this landmark hotel at the forefront of Riviera life.

Your Role

We are looking for a passionate Reservations Manager (F/H) for luxury hospitality, with natural leadership skills and a drive to provide impeccable customer service while actively contributing to the commercial and revenue performance of the hotel.

As Reservations Manager, you are the pillar of our pre-stay guest relations and a key player in revenue optimization. You will lead, unite, and develop the Reservations & Guest Service Operators team, ensure operational excellence, and guarantee the smooth running of all reservation-related processes, while working closely with the Revenue Manager and sales teams.

Key Missions:

Leadership and Management

  • Supervise, train, and support the Reservations and Guest Service Operators team in their skill development and retention.
  • Ensure adherence to Four Seasons, Palace, LQA, Forbes, and FHR excellence standards.
  • Monitor individual and collective performance, identify needs, and implement appropriate action plans.
  • Manage schedules and adapt staffing levels based on activity.
  • Develop knowledge of hotel services, rooms, offers, and promotions to enhance advisory quality and upsell opportunities.
  • Prepare and lead monthly department meetings.

Reservation Management and Guest Relations

  • Handle complex reservations, rooming lists, payment terms, and refunds.
  • Provide personalized, high-end customer service across all channels (calls, emails, partners).
  • Track upcoming reservations and ensure proper application of pricing strategies and booking codes.
  • Master and optimize distribution channels (PMS, GDS, OTA, official website).
  • Handle requests, complaints, cancellations, and no-shows with elegance and professionalism.
  • Cultivate relationships with loyal customers and preferred partners.

Revenue Optimization and Commercial Coordination

  • Support the Revenue Manager in implementing pricing strategies, promotions, and daily analyses.
  • Manage pricing and inventory in their absence.
  • Oversee events significantly impacting RevPAR (Grand Prix, Yacht Show, Easter, etc.).
  • Conduct regular competitor analysis (rates, trends, novelties).
  • Prepare key reports: Pick-up, DRS, Weekly Pace, Rate Strategy Sheet, etc.
  • Relay Revenue directions to the team and coordinate with internal departments, Tour Operators, and OTAs.

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree (Bac+2) in hospitality, tourism, or hotel management.
  • Proven experience (minimum 3 years) in a similar role within a 5* or Palace hotel.
  • Proficiency in hotel tools: Opera PMS, GDS, HotSoS, distribution tools, and Microsoft suite.
  • Strong leadership, developed commercial acumen, and a strong customer focus.
  • Ability to work autonomously, with precision and composure, even during high-activity periods.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, team spirit, and attention to detail.
  • Fluent French and English; any additional language is a plus.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with all hotel departments.
