A Little Bit About The Role
As an Associate Product Designer, you will play a critical role in shaping user-centric solutions with innovative design practices. This role bridges creativity and strategy by requiring proficiency in both visual and interaction design, while collaborating with cross-functional teams and supporting senior designers.
Design Execution
What You Will Be Doing:
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and polished design assets using Figma and similar tools.
- Create intuitive, visually appealing interfaces for web and mobile.
- Ensure designs adhere to brand guidelines and accessibility standards.
Collaboration
Work closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and refine designs. Participate in brainstorming sessions, workshops, and design critiques, and facilitate a smooth design-to-development handoff.
Research & Usability
Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions. Analyze findings to improve product usability and user satisfaction while advocating for user-centered design practices.
Innovation And Learning
Stay updated with current design trends and emerging tools. Experiment with innovative design approaches, take ownership of small projects, and mentor junior team members as needed.
Requirements & Skills
- 3-6 years of experience in UX/UI or product design roles.
- Proficient with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design, information architecture, and accessibility.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Portfolio & Certifications
Provide a portfolio showcasing design projects with examples of wireframes, prototypes, and user research. UX/UI certifications and knowledge of Agile methodologies are a plus.
