Foundever is seeking a talented Conversational Designer to create and enhance end-to-end conversational experiences for chatbots and voicebots. This is a key strategic role where you will translate business objectives and user needs into natural, effective dialogues that drive engagement and deliver measurable results. You will define conversational strategies, conduct assessments, build conversation flows and scripts, and collaborate with CAI engineers to ensure high-quality implementations.

The ideal candidate possesses expertise in LLM, Agentic AI, Knowledge AI, and NLU, with the ability to implement these technologies across various scenarios, including hybrid bots. You'll have a deep understanding of the voice channel's requirements and challenges, as well as the essential elements for successful voicebot deployment.

Job Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the production team, including the Conversational AI Engineer and Delivery Manager, to define and deliver optimal customer experiences.
• Conduct operational and client assessments to identify needs and opportunities for improvement.
• Map use cases and prioritize them based on impact, effort, and feasibility, aligning with client expectations and contracts.
• Develop the Conversational AI strategy for projects.
• Design conversational scenarios, flows, and dialogues for chatbots and voicebots.
• Create proto-personas, bot personas, and define the tone of voice, ensuring brand alignment.
• Implement bots on the CAI platform, including flows and knowledge bases.
• Analyze KPIs, generating qualitative insights and reports to inform project decisions.
• Support the project roadmap by prioritizing opportunities and improvements with the Delivery Manager.
• Drive continuous improvement of the conversational experience and user satisfaction.
• Train the bot and reinforce the AI knowledge base in conjunction with the Conversational AI Engineer.
• Oversee QA and testing, including UAT and ongoing performance checks, consolidating feedback and implementing fixes.
• Integrate client-approved changes and enhancements during project execution.

Skills And Qualifications

• Fluency in both written and spoken English and German (C1 level minimum).
• Proven experience in conversational design for chatbots and voicebots.
• Strong knowledge of Conversational AI, LLM, Agentic AI, and NLU.
• Deep understanding of conversational UX and channel-specific nuances (chat vs. voice).
• Ability to leverage LLM capabilities and integrate them into conversational design, including hybrid bots.
• Understanding of LLM functioning and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to articulate and defend design choices and user experience strategies.
• Experience working in a multicultural environment.
• Familiarity with conversational AI platforms (e.g., Cognigy).
• Experience with voice interfaces and speech technologies (STT/TTS).
• Understanding of multilingual conversational design principles.
• Proficiency with analytics tools for tracking user interactions and performance.
