About This Opportunity
This isn't a traditional job offer; it's an invitation to join foundermatcha as a technical co-founder and build an image monitoring platform from the ground up. We're looking for a Full Stack Technical Co-founder ready to take ownership of a modern SaaS product with real technical depth, including image analysis, real-time updates, serverless architecture, and AI-powered web detection.
This is an equity-based role with a clear path to cash compensation once we secure funding or reach paid user milestones.
What They're Building
foundermatcha is building a web application that helps users monitor and track where their images appear across the internet. Think reverse image search meets continuous monitoring.
What You'll Own
As the technical co-founder, you'll have complete ownership over:
- Product Development: Building new features, improving architecture, and scaling the platform
- Technical Strategy: Making key decisions about stack, infrastructure, and integrations
- User Experience: Creating seamless workflows from upload to analysis to notification
- Performance: Optimizing background processing, database queries, and real-time updates
- Growth Infrastructure: Building the foundation to scale from MVP to thousands of users
What We're Looking For
Technical Skills:
- Strong experience with full-stack development
- Comfortable with TypeScript and modern frontend tooling
- Experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases
- Understanding of API integrations and background job processing
- Bonus: Experience with image processing, computer vision APIs, or real-time systems
Mindset:
- You want to build something from scratch and see it through to product-market fit
- You're comfortable with ambiguity and making technical decisions independently
- You're excited about AI-powered products and SaaS business models
- You value clean code, but know when to move fast and iterate
Compensation & Structure
- Equity: Meaningful founding equity stake (to be discussed based on experience and involvement)
- Cash Component: Once we reach one of the following milestones:
- Paid users generating consistent revenue
- Pre-seed or seed funding secured
This is a co-founder-level role, not a contractor position. We're looking for someone who wants to build a company, not just write code.

- Working prototype with image upload, analysis, and notification system
- Ready to iterate based on user feedback and scale infrastructure
- Actively exploring go-to-market strategy and early user acquisition
