The Role of a Software Engineer

We are at a pivotal moment, having recently secured $20M in Series-A funding. Foundation Health is a fast-growing business with a production platform and established enterprise customers. We are seeking an ambitious, product-focused Software Engineer to capitalize on this momentum.

You will join a team that prioritizes high-quality engineering and the opportunity to build greenfield products making a genuine difference in healthcare. This role is for engineers who want to build, own, and scale a platform with massive potential, moving beyond maintaining legacy systems.

What You’ll Get To Do

• Drive Greenfield Innovation: Architect and deliver entire services and significant platform sections, taking true product ownership.
• Master a Modern Stack: Work primarily with Node.js and TypeScript on the backend, complemented by SvelteKit on the frontend, all hosted on GCP.
• Collaborate with Experts: Learn alongside an intentionally Senior and Lead heavy team with proven experience in building and scaling products at the highest level.
• Influence the Roadmap: Contribute to shaping our tech stack, culture, and standards within our flat organizational structure.

Why You’re a Great Fit

You are an ambitious, product-focused engineer eager to build a business, not just write code.

• Solid Fundamentals: Possess a degree in Computer Science, Maths, or Physics from a top-tier university, providing the theoretical foundation for complex problem-solving.
• Proven Experience: Bring 4+ years of commercial experience, including at least 2 years of in-depth work with TypeScript.
• High-Growth Pedigree: Ideally, you have experience in a fast-paced scale-up or a FAANG-level environment, understanding best practices at scale.
• AI-Fluent: Already integrate AI tools into your daily workflow and are keen to define the future of AI-assisted engineering.
