Overview
The Human Resources Student Assistant at Foundation for California Community Colleges supports the HR department and Business Insights team. This remote role within California involves onboarding, processing HR transactions through WorkDay, and facilitating virtual training sessions.
What You’ll Do
- Process HR requests using Help Desk and SalesForce.
- Input employee data and changes into WorkDay (HRIS).
- Facilitate virtual training for new hires on WorkDay.
- Collaborate with Business Insights HR Business Partners and other staff.
Attributes for Success
Candidates must be enrolled in college with a minimum of six (6) semester units or nine (9) quarter units and a minimum 2.0 GPA. A major in Human Resources or a business-related field is preferred. Experience in customer service is required, with a familiarity in Microsoft Office Suite, Zoom, Teams, and HRIS systems such as WorkDay and Jira.
