The Opportunity: Senior Sales Operations Analyst
As the Senior Sales Operations Analyst, you will be crucial in driving the success of our Sales Department through advanced analytics and reporting. This role involves identifying and implementing opportunities for increased sales efficiency and revenue growth, collaborating closely with Sales leadership and cross-functional teams including Technology, Marketing, Analytics, Finance, and the Executive Leadership Team.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a Strategic Partner: Engage in weekly meetings and directly partner with Sales leaders to understand their focus areas and embed within the team's operations.
- Monitor Performance and Share Insights with Sales Leadership: Regularly review sales performance data and trends, sharing insights weekly with sales leaders and managers to inform strategy.
- Monitor Performance and Share Insights with Senior Leadership: Analyze and communicate broader sales performance trends, strategic insights, and forecasts to leadership, managers, and stakeholders monthly to drive overall departmental success.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally to Drive Profitability: Serve as a bridge between the Sales Department and other functions (Underwriting, Finance, Marketing, Technology, Analytics, Executive Leadership) to collaborate on key initiatives that advance the business.
- Manage and Optimize the Sales Pipeline: Analyze pipeline health, identify bottlenecks, ensure effective lead management, and evaluate sales channel/partnership performance for optimization recommendations.
- Support Test and Learn Initiatives: Provide data-backed support for sales pilot programs (e.g., new strategies, tools, incentive plans) to assess their effectiveness.
- Administer Compensation and Awards Plans: Maintain the Presidents Club Leaderboard and compile/submit monthly incentives and sales contest compensation.
- Administer CRM Systems: Update Salesforce as needed to support the Sales team.
- Perform Ad-Hoc Analysis: Conduct in-depth sales analysis to optimize sales effectiveness, productivity, and overall business performance.
- Build Comprehensive Tableau and Salesforce Dashboards: In partnership with Sales Leadership and Analytics, develop dashboards that deliver actionable insights and drive business impact.

Role Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in sales analysis, sales operations, consulting, finance, or a related analytical role.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, nested IF statements, index match, etc.) and PowerPoint.
- Proficient with CRM systems (Salesforce Admin Certification preferred).
- Proficient with common analytics and BI tools such as Tableau (Tableau Certification and SQL experience preferred).
- Experience evaluating unique problems, collaboratively creating solutions, drafting project plans, and delivering effective new business processes.
- Ability to build long-lasting relationships with key contacts at all levels of the organization.
- Self-starter, confident, with strong attention to detail and an ability to apply an analytical mind to problem-solving.
Compensation and Total Rewards
Annual Targeted Salary: $105,000 – $125,000 CAD
Annual Target Bonus: 10%
