Summary

This part-time role (60%-80%) is available at Forward College Berlin until August 2026, with the possibility to transition to full-time from September 2026. It is a 2-year contract with a permanent contract possibility after 2 years. The role requires over 3 years of experience and fluency in English. Applicants must have the right to work in Germany/Europe. The start date is December 2025 and the application deadline is November 05, 2025.

The Role

As a Student Career Advisor & Fellow, you will manage and support student career efforts by building new programs and initiatives. You are expected to work with international students, providing career coaching, workshop facilitation, administrative oversight, and research to improve career services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Student Coaching & Development: Provide one-on-one coaching, deliver 360-degree feedback, guide career search and application processes.
  • Workshop Design & Facilitation: Design and deliver engaging workshops on career exploration, personal narrative crafting, and using AI tools; organize career-related events.
  • Administrative Operations: Review student internship reports and maintain proper documentation.
  • Resource Development & Research: Research trends in career development, build practical tools and templates.
  • Mid-term Activities: Develop employer relationships, manage communication tools, and update the CDC website.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred in relevant fields.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in career counseling, student affairs, HR, or related fields.
  • Proven workshop/group training facilitation skills.
  • Understanding international job search strategies and graduate program applications.
  • Proficiency with GSuite and learning new technologies (Miro, Canva, Gamma). Ethical AI usage is a plus.
  • Excellent English; German is a plus.
