Job Overview

The Senior Proposal Specialist Public Sector Advisory is responsible for leading the entire proposal process for government and public sector opportunities. The role involves creating compelling, compliant, and competitive proposals that align with opportunity requirements while managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the complete proposal process from opportunity receipt to final submission.
• Develop and revise proposal content to ensure clear differentiators and compliance.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and cross-functional teams.
• Use AI-enabled tools for content generation, compliance review, and structuring documents.
• Maintain and update libraries of past performance case studies and templates.
• Conduct thorough reviews to ensure accuracy and alignment with brand guidelines.
• Track proposal progress using performance metrics and report on annual goals.

Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, English, Marketing or a related field along with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in proposal writing, preferably in a government or public sector environment. Proven project management, writing, and communication skills are essential.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with QuorusDocs proposal software.
• APMP, Shipley, or equivalent training.
• Knowledge of federal, state, local and tribal government proposals.
