FTS Security Intern Role Overview

The FTS Security Intern will focus on SecDevOps, supporting the integration of security practices into the software development and operations lifecycle (SDLC). The role involves automating security controls, monitoring systems, and ensuring compliance with Forvis Mazars' security standards. The intern will gain hands‐on experience in secure coding, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud security within a professional services environment.

How You Will Contribute

• Collaborate with DevOps to implement security centric CI/CD pipelines.
• Assist in vulnerability scanning, code analysis, and remediation efforts.
• Support cloud security initiatives and processes.
• Automate security testing and compliance checks.
• Document processes and contribute to security best practices.
• Participate in troubleshooting and incident response activities.

Qualifications and Requirements

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Exposure to CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git), security tools (SAST/DAST) and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) is beneficial. Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) and version control (Git) is desired. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available.
