Job Description

The Senior Continuous Improvement Engineer is responsible for identifying and implementing improvements to quality processes using statistical tools, project management practices, and continuous improvement methodologies. The role focuses on reducing the cost of quality and enhancing quality outcomes to meet strategic business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Lead high value projects using Six Sigma process improvement methods.
• Serve as a technical leader by deploying Six Sigma methodologies, training, coaching, and mentoring associates.
• Drive ideation, prioritization, and implementation of process improvements with key stakeholders.
• Analyze data and manufacturing techniques to identify significant cost improvements.
• Manage projects and lead cross-functional teams to enhance quality outcomes.
• Provide operational expertise in statistical analysis and offer analytical support across the enterprise.
• Mentor Quality Engineers and deliver training as required.
• Continuously improve operations, decrease turnaround times, and streamline work processes.

Qualifications

• Six Sigma Black Belt certification through an accredited institution.
• Minimum 8 years of engineering experience required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• Excellent communication skills at all levels.
• Proven experience applying analytics to drive quality results.
• Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Additional Information

The base salary range for this role is approximately $81,000 to $135,000 USD. Employees may participate in an annual bonus plan or role-based sales incentive plan.
