Direct to Consumer Merchandising & Ops Manager
Fortune Brands is seeking a dynamic and experienced Merchandising and Operations Manager to oversee the development, execution, and optimization of merchandising strategies and operational functions for FBIN Water products. The role is critical in enhancing product offerings, driving operational efficiency, and ensuring a seamless customer experience both online and in-store.
Key Responsibilities
Merchandising Management:
- Lead merchandise planning and assortment strategy to maximize sales.
- Collaborate with marketing and product development teams for optimal product presentation.
- Implement in-store and online displays to drive engagement and sales.
- Monitor consumer behavior, market trends, and competitor activities.
- Align merchandising with seasonal promotions, brand standards and consumer preferences.
Operations Management:
- Oversee daily product availability, inventory management, and fulfillment.
- Work with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure timely product deliveries.
- Manage product flow between warehouses, distribution centers, and online stores.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve processes.
- Monitor operational metrics and report performance to address issues.
Team Leadership & Collaboration:
- Partner with Growth Business Managers and cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, and customer service.
- Collaborate with the analytics team to set departmental goals and KPIs.
Reporting & Analysis:
- Analyze sales data, inventory levels, and product performance to find improvement opportunities.
- Provide actionable insights to senior management through detailed reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Operations Management or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in merchandising, operations or supply chain management.
- Strong understanding of eCommerce platforms, retail merchandising, and product lifecycle management.
- Excellent collaboration skills in a matrixed organization and proficiency in data analysis.
- Knowledge of Water industry trends is a plus.
