About the Role
Join Formlabs to reinvent manufacturing software for professional 3D printers. As a Senior Manufacturing Test Engineer, you will lead the design and development of factory software systems that transition electromechanical products from prototype to high-volume production. Work at the intersection of hardware and software while ensuring production data is visible and actionable across our global supply chain.
The Job
Key responsibilities include:
- Own architecture, development, and maintenance of factory software systems for calibration and testing.
- Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, firmware, and manufacturing teams for test strategies.
- Build internal tools for collecting, storing, and analyzing manufacturing data.
- Apply data science for actionable insights on manufacturing performance.
- Continuously improve development, testing, and deployment processes across global factories.
You
Ideal candidates have 5-10+ years of software development experience in production systems, strong proficiency in Python, Linux, SQL and a solid understanding of software integration with embedded systems. Prioritize system reliability and product quality. Bonus skills include full stack web development (React/JS), DevOps, and experience with C/C++ on microcontrollers.
