Original Job Summary
DevOps Engineer at Ford
Manage OpenShift Virtualization Namespaces/Permissions, develop automation for Provisioning, Day2, Decommissioning, and Migration. Collaborate with team members regarding code standards and assignments; participate in code reviews and technical designs.
Required Experience
- 3+ years of overall experience
- Strong Linux knowledge on RHEL, Ubuntu, SUSE (1+ years)
- Experience using Kubevirt and Kubernetes (1+ years)
- Experience in virtualization, container technologies, Cloud-based PaaS and IaaS (GCP/Azure preferred, 2+ years)
- Experience with GIT and CI/CD pipelines (Tekton, Argo, GitHub Actions, and/or Jenkins)
- Experience with Prometheus/Grafana
- Proficiency in Kustomize/Helm and at least one programming or scripting language (Go, Python, Bourne Shell)
- Knowledge of RESTFUL API concepts and JSON formats
- Experience with IT Automation products such as Terraform, Ansible, Chef

Work Arrangement
This is a remote role with a requirement to be within 50 miles of the Ford headquarters and on site 1-2 days per week.
