Job Details

DevOps Engineer at Ford

Manage OpenShift Virtualization Namespaces/Permissions, develop automation for Provisioning, Day2, Decommissioning, and Migration. Collaborate with team members regarding code standards and assignments; participate in code reviews and technical designs.

Required Experience

  • 3+ years of overall experience
  • Strong Linux knowledge on RHEL, Ubuntu, SUSE (1+ years)
  • Experience using Kubevirt and Kubernetes (1+ years)
  • Experience in virtualization, container technologies, Cloud-based PaaS and IaaS (GCP/Azure preferred, 2+ years)
  • Experience with GIT and CI/CD pipelines (Tekton, Argo, GitHub Actions, and/or Jenkins)
  • Experience with Prometheus/Grafana
  • Proficiency in Kustomize/Helm and at least one programming or scripting language (Go, Python, Bourne Shell)
  • Knowledge of RESTFUL API concepts and JSON formats
  • Experience with IT Automation products such as Terraform, Ansible, Chef

Work Arrangement
