The Opportunity
Force, a fast-growing, AI native, B2B tech company, is seeking a Chief Technology Officer to take ownership of engineering excellence and technical vision at a critical inflection point. This is a rare opportunity to step into an executive role where your decisions will shape products used by thousands and eventually millions.
The business has found product-market fit and is now scaling. You'll inherit a strong engineering foundation and a team that's hungry to be led well. This isn't a turnaround — it's an acceleration. The incoming Chief Technology Officer will work directly with the CEO and have full autonomy over the technology organisation.
What You'll Own
- Set and execute the technical roadmap for Force.
- Build and scale the engineering organisation.
- Drive architectural decisions across product and infrastructure.
- Lead the organisation's AI roadmap, embedding AI into both product and the development lifecycle.
- Accelerate engineers through intelligent tooling and integrating AI capabilities directly into core products.
- Act as a genuine thought partner to the business where technology creates competitive advantage.
- Represent Force externally in the market.
Who We're Looking For
- You've built and led engineering teams before, ideally across multiple growth stages.
- You have a proven track record of implementing AI at an organisational level, institutionalising it.
- Your engineers ship faster because of decisions you've made.
- You're comfortable with ambiguity, know when to go deep and when to delegate.
- You've worked in environments where speed and quality both matter.
- You're a strategist who leverages technology to unlock business growth.
Location / Compensation
This is a hybrid role, based from Amsterdam or Berlin. It offers a highly competitive base salary, significant equity, and the kind of role that will define the next chapter of your career.
