Job Overview

Forbes is seeking an experienced Temporary Researcher Lawyer Lists to assist in creating the Forbes Lists, Legal. This role reports to the Senior Editor, Legal Lists and involves detailed research and data management in support of legal nominees.

Responsibilities

  • Manage spreadsheets and nominee databases.
  • Research nominated lawyers and law firms.
  • Handle outreach to legal nominees.
  • Edit bios and blurbs.
  • Verify employment details and current formal titles.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Analytical skills with research methods and data analysis.
  • Project management experience and adaptability with new technologies.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and commit to deadlines.
  • Experience in the legal field preferred with journalism experience a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.

Compensation

The hourly rate ranges from $25.00 to $40.00, based on experience and qualifications.

Location & Eligibility

This position is open only to candidates residing in select U.S. states including California, Colorado, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Washington.
