The Opportunity: Designer, Accolades
Forbes is seeking a highly skilled Designer to join the Content & Design Studio, specifically supporting the Accolades business. This role primarily focuses on production design and new product development. The Designer will collaborate closely with the Accolades, Studio, and Marketing teams to efficiently execute high-volume post-sale deliverables and contribute significantly to bringing new Accolades products to market.
This Designer, Accolades will be crucial in scaling the Accolades business by owning the execution of core templates, marketing assets, and emerging products. This enables senior design leadership to focus on strategic creative direction and brand evolution. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and proficient in working within established brand systems, while also contributing to template and product refinement.

Key Responsibilities
This role encompasses Accolades design across various products and touchpoints, including lists, award logos, display products, marketing assets, and reports.
- Production & Execution
- Execute high-volume, post-sale Accolades deliverables efficiently and accurately, ensuring consistent brand quality.
- Own the production of templated assets including: PowerPoint-based product templates (e.g., order forms, sell sheets), social media cards for product purchase and social marketing, Forbes cover for-purchase products, and data reports and methodology white papers supporting Forbes lists.
- Manage multiple concurrent requests with varying timelines, maintaining high accuracy and on-brand execution.
- New Product Support
- Support the development and rollout of new Accolades products, translating concepts into scalable design systems.
- Create and refine templates balancing efficiency, flexibility, and brand integrity.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to adapt creative for new formats, platforms, and use cases.
- Collaboration & Brand Stewardship
- Work closely with Studio designers, the Art Director, and Accolades stakeholders for creative alignment.
- Consistently apply Forbes brand guidelines, identifying opportunities for system and workflow improvement.
- Provide clear, organized design files and documentation for smooth handoffs and scalability.
Qualifications
- 2–4 years of professional design experience across digital and print; production design experience strongly preferred.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating execution, typography, layout, and attention to detail in templated and marketing work.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Figma.
- Strong working knowledge of PowerPoint; experience designing scalable PPT templates is a plus.
- Comfortable working within established brand systems while maintaining visual quality and consistency.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing high-volume workflows in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to balance speed, accuracy, and quality across both ongoing production and new initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Art, or a related field.
Compensation and Location
The annual base salary range for this role is $60,000 - $70,000. Forbes supports flexibility; this position is open to candidates residing in California, Colorado, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, & Washington.
