Overview
We are looking for an established, highly motivated and passionate Product Developer to join our in-house “Own Brand” Design Centre team at Footasylum. Work on Footasylum’s own brands such as Zavetti Canada, KWD, Alessandro Zavetti and many more, with excellent progression opportunities.
About You
The successful candidate will have at least 2 years’ experience in the Highstreet Fashion Industry across Mens, Ladies, Juniors and accessories. You should be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage time effectively within tight deadlines. Adaptability and the ability to react quickly to changing priorities are essential.
The Team
Join a rapidly growing team of diverse, talented individuals with a passion for fashion. The Product Development Team is an integral part of the larger Design Centre, working closely with Apparel Design, Buying and Merchandising.
Responsibilities
- Ensure a smooth development process and maintain ex-factory dates.
- Manage seal sample stages and coordinate fit sessions in-house.
- Analyze technical issues and deliver clear feedback to suppliers.
- Prepare complete workbooks with specs, grade rules, testing and risk assessments.
- Guarantee compliance with regulations, product safety and legislation.
- Conduct fabric, garment testing, and quality control.
- Collaborate with Design, Buying and Merchandising teams.
- Coordinate directly with overseas suppliers, including travel for production trips.
- Support graphics teams in reporting production issues and assist with bulk QC checks.
