About the Junior Product Developer Role
We are looking for an ambitious, highly motivated and passionate Junior Product Developer to join our in-house “Own Brand” Design Centre team at Footasylum. You will work on Footasylum’s own brands such as Zavetti Canada, KWD, Alessandro Zavetti and many more.
The Team
You will join a rapidly growing team of diverse, talented individuals with a passion for fashion. The Product Development Team functions as a part of the larger Design Centre and works closely with Apparel Design, Buying and Merchandising.
About You
The ideal candidate has 1-2 years experience in the Highstreet Fashion Industry across Mens, Ladies, Juniors and accessories. You will be office based with required travel to our warehouse for QC checks. Excellent organization and time management skills, a self-motivated approach and a positive attitude are key.
Responsibilities
- Manage development process ensuring critical path and ex-factory dates are maintained.
- Liaise with factories for lab dips, samples, and submissions.
- Assist in ensuring products meet safety and grade standards.
- Regular QC checks at the warehouse and update QC logs.
- Create and update AQL inspection and measurement sheets.
- Organize and log photo samples and SMS, and send parcels as needed.
