About the Role

The Software Engineer AI on the AI Engineering team transforms personalized nutrition and care for millions by building conversational experiences, predictive models, and intelligent systems. This role involves designing and deploying solutions that tailor communications, drive engagement, and optimize member journeys.

You Will

  • Develop and maintain AI powered applications
  • Collaborate with front-end engineers to design and implement APIs
  • Establish development practices like code reviews and testing
  • Build and deploy models for real-time personalization
  • Fine-tune foundational models for chatbots and screening
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions
  • Monitor model performance and iterate based on feedback

You Are

  • Strong in software engineering principles and algorithms
  • Proficient with backend development and server architecture
  • Experienced in database design and building production systems
  • Comfortable working across the ML stack from data prep to deployment
  • Collaborative, curious, and motivated across functions
  • Pragmatic in balancing accuracy, latency, scalability, and maintainability

You Have

  • 2+ years experience building and deploying ML/DL models
  • 2+ years developing backend systems using Node.js and TypeScript
  • Strong skills in Python and ML frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow
  • Experience with real-time personalization and behavioral modeling
  • Familiarity with MLOps tools like MLflow, Airflow, or SageMaker Pipelines
