About the Meat Clerk Role at Food Basics

Key Responsibilities and Requirements
- Customer service driven: Provide excellent service and assist customers with their needs.
- Able to stock merchandise and create appealing displays: Ensure the meat department is well-stocked and visually appealing.
- Good product knowledge and attention to detail: Maintain high standards for freshness, quality, and presentation of meat products.
- Able to lift up to 30 to 50 pounds: Perform physical tasks including moving and organizing merchandise.
- Retail experience considered an asset: Previous experience in a retail environment is beneficial but not strictly required.
- Able to stand for long periods of time: Fulfill duties that require extended periods of standing.
- Must be available to work flexible shifts which may include nights, weekends, and holidays: Adapt to various scheduling needs of the store.
