Overview
Internship Opportunity: Programme and Policy Team at Folkekirkens Nødhjælp (DanChurchAid) offers a chance to work on global development and humanitarian policy. The intern will support programme planning, research, policy briefs, and advocacy work across various international contexts.
Role Responsibilities
- Assist in trends analysis, research, and data management.
- Support development of country-specific messaging and policy advocacy.
- Participate in DCA’s UN engagement and stakeholder work.
- Help with planning meetings, workshops and ad-hoc assignments.
- Proofread and translate advocacy reports and communications.
Your Profile
Applicants should be enrolled in a relevant university programme. A strong interest or background in humanitarian interventions, development, or peacebuilding is essential. Proficiency in English and intermediate skills in Excel, Word, and PPT are required. The role is office-based in Copenhagen during Spring Semester 2026.

Practical Information
Please apply through DCA’s online recruitment system by 20 November 2025. Expected start date is 1 February 2026. Candidates must be able to work from the Copenhagen office at least 2-3 days a week. The application must include a motivational letter and a CV. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted and interviews are planned between 25 and 28 November 2025.
