We are seeking a highly motivated and collaborative Product Owner to support strategic change across our Trading Department. What You’ll Do

  • Work with Business Analysts, Product managers, Developers Trading and other cross-functional resources to define and deliver business impacting projects.
  • Elicit requirements from a broad range of stakeholders, refining them into user stories for tech teams.
  • Understand and balance commercial needs against technical requirements and capabilities.
  • Identify dependencies between requirements across different functional areas, while ensuring transparency for all parties.
  • Identify & manage risks and raise concerns in due time where applicable; ensuring mitigation options are clearly articulated.
  • Maintain a refined and prioritised backlog of user stories for projects and products with multiple dependencies, retaining focus on the agreed scope of the iteration. Ensure data quality within company tooling is accurate at all times as per aligned divisional standards.
  • Work closely with team leadership to ensure initiatives continue to align with the overall objectives for Trading.
  • Contribute to operational readiness processes for new releases and provide product training to stakeholders.
  • Ensure that all solutions meet company-wide standards in terms of non-functional performance, security, compliance and social responsibility.
  • Contribute to clear stakeholder communication and management, including delivery reporting and tracking for the aligned squad/s, supporting Delivery Assurance teams.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience as a Product Owner and defining user stories / business requirements.
  • Analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills — able to simplify complexity and connect strategic objectives to practical outcomes.
  • Knowledge in influencing ways of working across the team.
  • Awareness of product management methodologies, disciplines and approaches.
  • Comfortable working with different delivery methodologies (Agile, Hybrid, Waterfall), adapting approaches to suit context and pace.
  • Fluency in English.

What Would Set You Apart

  • Experience in technology led projects in particular generative AI, Machine Learning, Simulation models, Automation technologies.
  • Technical / Computer Science / Data Science University degree.
  • SCRUM/Agile Experience.
