About the Finance Controller - Revenue Role

This role is based in Dublin/London/Leeds on a 2-day hybrid model. Reporting to the Head of Revenue within Flutter Finance, the Financial Controller – Revenue will lead the Revenue accounting function with a focus on global revenue (FY24 > $10Bn) and Revenue-linked cost accounting. You will support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and be integral to revenue process improvements and automation, including work with Group Finance technology teams.

Main Responsibilities

• Support the integration and development of Revenue Controlling functions.
• Implement strong governance and control over Revenue & CoS recognition.
• Build frameworks for automation projects and streamline processes.
• Prepare management accounts and financial reports for multiple divisions.
• Manage audit processes and compliance with internal controls, including SOX.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners for financial insights.

Required Skills & Experience

• Qualified accountant with 5+ years’ industry or financial services experience.
• Strong ability in US GAAP and technical accounting issues.
• Proven leadership, financial analysis, and reporting skills.
• Experience with Oracle Financials and advanced MS Excel.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
