Technical Lead Manager at FloQast
FloQast is offering a Technical Lead Manager (TLM) role as a career path in technical management. This role is ideal for strong individual contributors looking to transition into people management while remaining hands-on with coding and system design.
What You'll Do
You will be responsible for:
- Leading and managing a small team of about 5 engineers.
- Spending 60-70% of time on individual technical contributions and 30-40% on leadership.
- Managing day-to-day operations, task prioritization, and performance reviews.
- Bridging communication between engineers, product managers, customers, and management.
- Providing technical mentorship and ensuring tasks match team skills.
- Overseeing project management, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
What You'll Bring
Candidates should have:
- Approximately 10 years of software engineering experience, with expertise in TypeScript/JavaScript and preferably Go.
- At least 3 years in a technical lead role with a proven record of accomplishments.
- Strong skills in software architecture, design, and implementation.
- Experience with microservices and scalable environments.
- Familiarity with agile practices, quality engineering, and effective communication.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary range is $144,000 - $216,000 with additional Total Rewards including Medical, Dental, Vision, family benefits, life and disability insurance, and unlimited vacation.
