The Opportunity

Flock Safety is seeking an FP&A Manager - Reporting to elevate financial reporting and technical forecasting. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Corporate FP&A, this role is vital in delivering insights to executive leadership, board members, and investors. You will own development and delivery of finance board materials, close reporting, executive dashboards, and lead forecasting for stock-based compensation, depreciation, and taxes. The role offers cross-functional exposure and an opportunity to drive strategic special projects.

The Skillset

  • 3-6 years of relevant experience in FP&A, Investment Banking, or Public Accounting
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with advanced Excel/Google Sheets capabilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for senior leadership presentations
  • Experience with reporting automation and business intelligence tools (e.g., Sigma, Looker, Tableau) is preferred

90 Days at Flock

First 30 Days: Learn current reporting, forecasting, and systems while beginning work on monthly close decks and dashboards.

First 60 Days: Assist in running existing processes and build initial versions of key reporting dashboards.

90 Days & Beyond: Own reporting and forecasting processes, identify improvements, and finalize dashboards.

The Interview Process

  • Initial chat with a recruiter to discuss background and expectations.
  • Hiring Manager interview to dive into role specifics, team dynamics, and success metrics.
  • Technical assessment to evaluate hard financial skills and modeling abilities.
  • Crossover interviews with cross-functional team members to assess collaboration and cultural fit.
  • Executive interview with the CFO to review Flock Safety from a strategic perspective.

Salary & Equity

Base salary ranges from $120,000 to $160,000 with stock options. The starting compensation is typically near the midpoint, subject to demonstration of required competencies and experience.
