Overview
The Engineering VP Digital Transformation at Flisher + Partners will lead a major digital transformation programme for a large-scale fintech platform. This role focuses on integrating, automating, and enabling internal platforms across Finance, HR, Compliance, and Operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support engineering execution for transformation programmes alongside the Deputy Head of Engineering.
- Provide technical leadership in systems integration, workflow automation, and platform development.
- Architect API-led, event-driven system designs to enable scalable services.
- Onboard external SaaS products and vendors within a sophisticated fintech landscape.
- Establish best practices for integrations including design, access control, version management, fault handling, and monitoring.
- Collaborate closely with Business Operations and Product Strategy teams to turn challenges into engineered solutions.
Required Experience & Skills
Applicants should have experience in leading technical delivery for integrations or change initiatives, a strong background in building modern services and platforms (including APIs and asynchronous systems), and hands-on experience with production software development (Node.js or similar). Familiarity with AWS-based cloud-native architectures and integrating external tools in regulated environments is essential.
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience in fintech or brokerage environments.
- Exposure to operational automation, data platforms, or workflow tooling.
- Background in post-merger technology integrations and system consolidation.
Benefits
This full time, permanent position offers a competitive base salary of £120,000 - £150,000 plus bonus, a fully remote working model with a London HQ base, high visibility across senior leadership, and an opportunity to shape a major digital transformation programme.
