Travel Registered Nurse Labor & Delivery

This role requires 2+ years of current/recent Labor & Delivery experience and multiple certifications including BLS, ACLS, NRP Advanced, AWHONN Intermediate, and NCC-EFM. The nurse will plan and implement age-specific care using the nursing process, coordinate with physicians, provide leadership, and delegate tasks to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Assess patients' physiologic and psychosocial health status.
  • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Administer medications correctly and safely.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team and physicians.
  • Participate in patient and family education and discharge planning.

Qualifications

Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing (Associate’s Degree required, Bachelor’s preferred). Must hold a current nursing license in New York State and/or Connecticut, with a minimum of 1-2 years relevant experience. Possession of required certifications is mandatory.
