The Opportunity

As part of the Trade Services team, you will support a portfolio of products including Customs Digitization, Climate, Capital, and Duty Drawback. Your primary focus will be on the Customs Digitization product, which automates customs declarations using AI/LLM powered technology, while also occasionally supporting other products.

Role Responsibilities

  • Lead complex product initiatives to successful completion.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
  • Review and safeguard code quality for performance and maintainability.
  • Collaborate with business partners to translate challenges into technical solutions.
  • Participate in a close-knit team that ships new code daily.

Requirements

  • Over three years of software engineering experience.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture and design patterns.
  • Expertise in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, or Kotlin.
  • Exposure to LLM-powered development tools like Claude Code or Cursor.
  • Ability to communicate technical ideas clearly to diverse stakeholders.

Our current stack transitions from React/Flow + Ruby on Rails to React/Typescript and Kotlin Microservices on Kubernetes. We use GraphQL, GRPC, Postgres, Kafka, Snowflake, and Python for AI/LLM integrations. We enjoy an agile work environment with collaborative in-office sessions three times a week.
