The Opportunity: Senior Drawback Associate
Flexport is experiencing massive growth with over 2,500 Flexporters across 20 global offices and warehouses. As a Senior Drawback Associate, you will play a key role in optimizing our clients’ duty drawback recoveries and enhancing the overall drawback experience. In this role, you will collaborate with various teams to build and optimize our next generation of drawback services.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare US and foreign duty drawback forms, applications, responses, and claims.
- Manage day-to-day drawback operations for multiple clients.
- Onboard new clients and develop SOPs for efficient drawback program implementation.
- Collaborate with software engineers and product managers on innovative solutions.
- Analyze business documents, data and identify recovery enhancements.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and assist with troubleshooting.
- Mentor team members and create training materials for internal and client education.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in duty drawback program implementation and account management.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution; Licensed Customs Broker preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Expertise in Microsoft Office suite (Excel) and Google equivalents.
- Proficiency with large datasets and mastery of email communication.
Salary & Benefits
The US base salary range for this position is $73,920 - $92,400 per year, not including bonus, equity, or benefits.
