About the Role
As a Senior Accounting Associate at Flex, you will play a critical role in managing financial operations, ensuring accuracy in daily, monthly, and quarterly processes. You will handle journal entries, reconciliations, vendor agreements, financial reporting, and support audits.
What You’ll Do
- Manage daily, month-end journal entries, reconciliations, and flux analysis.
- Oversee accounting and reporting for rent payments, banking, and intercompany transactions.
- Prepare calculations and manage vendor/software partner agreements.
- Record vendor invoices, employee expense reports, and credit card charges.
- Prepare balance sheet calculations, reconciliations, and analysis for reviews.
- Create cross-functional financial reporting documentation and consolidated reports.
- Collaborate with departments for approvals, expense monitoring, and variance analysis.
- Assist with regulatory filings and support monthly, quarterly, and yearly closes.
- Work directly with auditors for subsidiary and statutory audits.
Key Qualifications
- 2-3+ years of accounting experience in financial or startup environments.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Efficient multitasking and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in Excel, ERP, and financial systems.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
- Fintech experience is preferred; CPA is a plus.
Compensation & Work Arrangement
The base salary range is $90,000-$105,000 based on experience. This is a hybrid position with on-site expectations three days a week at our New York Headquarters. Relocation assistance may be available for eligible candidates outside the NY/NJ area.
