Position Summary

The AI Associate role is for an innovative Machine Learning professional passionate about the intersection of ML and science. You will develop, experiment, and deploy models on large-scale proprietary data, accelerating scientific discovery and supporting the origination of new companies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Venture Hypothesis Ideation and Validation: Perform computational proof-of-concept experiments and ideate innovative ventures using AI/ML.
  • New Company Origination and Operation: Manage operational and strategic risks, define value-creation opportunities, and communicate progress to leadership.
  • Capability and Team Building: Stay current on technology trends, mentor fellows, and collaborate on AI/ML research within the Center of Excellence.

Qualifications

A Master’s degree in technical fields (Computer Science, Engineering, Math, AI/ML) is required along with hands-on experience in ML model development. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential. Experience with advanced algorithms and a passion for innovation are highly valued. A Ph.D. and post-doctoral experience are preferred.
