Job Description

About The Role

Fivetran is seeking a Privacy Analyst to join our growing legal team at our global SaaS company. This non-attorney role reports directly to the Data Protection Officer and will be a key privacy leader within the organization. You will be responsible for managing the company’s global data protection compliance program, with the potential for significant impact across our rapidly growing global company. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical acumen, a well-calibrated risk assessment ability, and excellent communication skills. You will bring a technical, process, and operations-oriented approach to privacy analysis, helping to build and scale the business. As part of the Legal team, you will be instrumental in building and scaling a world-class legal organization, with primary responsibility for developing, maintaining, and enhancing Fivetran’s global privacy and data protection compliance programs.

Key responsibilities include staying abreast of peer company best practices and global data protection developments, coordinating with privacy attorneys to assess applicability to Fivetran's activities, and advising the business on achieving company goals while ensuring compliance with regulations. Your expertise will drive creative, customer-focused, practical, and proactive guidance. Fivetran is a startup environment where everyone contributes directly, and this role is no different. You will act as an analyst for privacy and data protection compliance initiatives.
