Job Overview: Software Development Engineer, Tandem Support

This role involves executing integration, system, feature interaction, stress, and performance testing for Clover products. You will work in production support, handle implementation support, postproduction deployment support, incident management, and update production support runbooks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work as part of a L2 production support team with server engineers, L3 engineers, and developers.
  • Provide production deployment and postproduction support including incident and problem management.
  • Update production support runbooks as required.

Requirements

  • BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
  • Working knowledge on HP Nonstop, Tandem, and some TAL and Administration support.
  • Familiarity with ITIL principles and tools like GitLab, Bitbucket.
  • Ability to rapidly learn new tools independently.

Preferred Skills

  • Exposure to Unix flavors (Solaris, Linux, AIX) and Windows platform.
  • Analytical skills with Oracle and MySQL.
  • Experience with monitoring tools such as Control-M Scheduler and Shell scripting.
  • Flexibility to work 24x7 shifts.
