GenAI Data Specialist

Overview

We are seeking qualified GenAI Data Specialists to support training, evaluation, and dataset development for Gen AI models at Firstsource. This remote gig role involves data annotation, content generation, model evaluation, coding tasks, multimodal workflows, and additional relevant responsibilities under strict security and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

The role is divided into various complexity tiers:

• Low Complexity: Data Collection, Data Labelling & Annotation
• Mid Complexity: Content Understanding, Audio/Speech and Multimodal Tasks, Evaluation and Quality Assessment
• High Complexity: Translation and Localisation, Content Generation and Rewrite, Emerging/Derivative Tasks
• Specialized / Technical: Code-related tasks and domain-specific expert level tasks

Qualifications & Complexity Tiers

Qualification is determined by tier:

• Tier 0–1 (Entry/Support): High School or Bachelor’s, 0–4 years
• Tier 2 (Advanced Contributor): Master’s or equivalent, 3–5 years
• Tier 3 (Expert/Research): PhD or equivalent, 5–7+ years
• Tier 4 (Technical/Coding): CS/Engineering degree or 2–3 years dev experience

Language & Performance Requirements

Native or fluent in project language is required and for select client-facing roles, an English (C1+) proficiency is mandatory. Candidates must meet defined quality benchmarks, achieve ≥95% monthly productivity targets, and complete mandatory training and qualification assessments.
