About the Role

At FIRST, a leading global brand experience agency, the Event Technology Manager plays a critical role within the FIRST Solutions team. This role involves representing the FIRST brand for a Fintech client by supporting registration websites, integrating new technology platforms, and managing data for both virtual and in-person events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise on user experience for pre-event and onsite registration.
  • Implement and manage event registration websites, apps, and technology.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and manage client communications.
  • Oversee database management, reporting, and data integrity.
  • Coordinate with the event delivery team on logistics and production.
  • Manage technology vendors and negotiate contracts.
  • Assist in training new joiners and mentor existing staff.
  • Travel up to 15% annually for on-site event management.

Required Skills and Experience

  • 5-7+ years in Event Technology and Attendee Management.
  • Experience with registration platforms (Cvent, Bizzabo, Certain, Qualtrics, etc.).
  • Proficiency with virtual meeting platforms (Intrado, GlobalMeet, Zoom, WebEx, etc.).
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including VLOOKUP; proficient in PowerPoint.
  • Project management experience with the ability to handle multiple projects.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience in client management and influencing by example.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS (a plus) and basic programming skills.
