About The Team

The position is for Data Products team within ED & A (Enterprise Data & Analytics) group. The Group is a strategic function that drives data-informed decision-making across the organization. It is responsible for managing the full data lifecycle — from data acquisition, integration, to advanced analytics and reporting. It partners closely with business, technology, and risk teams to embed data as a core asset and competitive advantage.

This is a crucial role in transforming raw data into actionable insights that support strategic decisions. The individual will be responsible for collecting, organizing, and interpreting complex data to help business leaders make informed choices. Their work can range from identifying inefficiencies in operations to spotting trends that can shape business strategies.

Key Deliverables

  • Data Enhancement: Leads the implementation of enhancements to the quality, management, and storage of enterprise data. Executes initiatives that improve profiling, data mapping, exception reporting, and issue resolution as well as general fixes for the Enterprise Data Warehouse. Build dashboards to modernize analytics, data storytelling, and assist management with special data projects. Communicate and guide technology teams through data mapping documents in implementing the solutions. Perform ad-hoc analytics using advanced SQL to extract business value and answer questions from stakeholders. Ensure data consistency, accuracy, timeliness, validity, and completeness.
  • Business Support: Enforces data policies and procedures across the enterprise to improve data literacy. Partner with diverse group of people / teams to understand the business use case(s). Encourages discussion and feedback from associates in order to identify areas of improvement within data management capabilities. Completes month-end validations on reporting data to ensure the quality and completeness of data prior to business use. May assist in training or mentoring less experienced consultants in the work group. Provide updates and raise issues to management in a timely manner. Ability to work independently and proactively to take initiative to solve problem quickly
  • Business Strategy: Facilitates strategies that develop the Bank's data management capabilities. Assists management in creating and implementing a strategic road to achieve planned objectives. Works cross-functionally to mature department presence within Bank business units. Maintains a strong knowledge of current and emerging technologies or trends impacting the financial service industry.
  • Documentation: Creates and maintains technical documentation for the Enterprise Data Warehouse, which includes source-to-target mappings, data dictionaries, audit documents, and other related materials. Identifies and creates centralized business critical reports.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science or related field

  • 15+ years of experience in Data Management, Data Analytics, and Data Governance with 5+ years of experience working in Banking and Financial services.
