Responsibilities
As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will:
- Collaborate with partners across the business to review financial results and operational changes.
- Support forecasting, budgeting, and short & long-term business planning.
- Assist with ad-hoc analysis and month-end close support.
- Create detailed analyses for presentations and reporting packages for Senior Leadership.
- Prepare monthly/quarterly variance reports, including causes and potential resolutions.
- Calculate monthly labor capitalization, ensuring accuracy and audit-compliant documentation.
- Review and approve invoices and purchase orders against budget.
- Track and monitor areas requiring tight budget management, highlighting risks, opportunities, and recommending corrective actions.
What You Will Need To Be Successful
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Industrial Engineering, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Accounting, or equivalent.
- Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience.
- Expert knowledge in Excel, including complex formulas and charts.
- Proficient knowledge in forecasting, scenario analysis, key metrics, and trending.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles.
- Strong presentational and professional speaking skills to communicate with Executive level management.
- Ability to explain complex analytics in an understandable and executable manner, and enjoy “storytelling” to engage and influence your audience.
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
