FireMon is actively seeking a highly driven Associate Account Executive to join our EMEA Sales team. In this critical individual contributor role, you will be instrumental in accelerating customer acquisition, expanding existing enterprise accounts, and driving regional revenue growth across EMEA. You will work in close collaboration with FireMon's Enterprise AEs in the region and leverage our partner ecosystem to maximize market penetration and ensure customer success.
As a key member of the EMEA sales organization, you will collaborate across channel, marketing, and technical teams to influence pipeline creation, progress high-value opportunities, and maintain strong customer engagement throughout the sales lifecycle. You will also serve as a trusted advisor to both customers and partners, effectively representing FireMon's unique value proposition within mid-market and enterprise security environments.

About The Associate Account Executive Role
- Understand and navigate sales cycles in conjunction with internal and external business processes.
- Create and diligently track sales opportunities, including leads, renewals, deal registrations, and quotes, using Salesforce.
- Source new sales opportunities effectively through inbound lead follow-up and proactive outbound cold calls and emails.
- Gain a deep understanding of customer needs and specific requirements.
- Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure.
- Conduct thorough research on accounts, identify key players, and generate strong interest in FireMon's solutions.
- Maintain and strategically expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory.
- Meet and exceed defined sales activity metrics designed to foster productivity and success.
- Assist with compelling customer presentations and product demonstrations utilizing online tools.
- Align closely with channel and partner teams to collaboratively support overall company revenue targets.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned to support the continuous growth of our business.
Required Skills And Experience
- Possess a BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Demonstrate successful B2B sales experience, specifically in cybersecurity, networking, or enterprise software; experience in channel-centric sales environments is strongly preferred.
- Be a team player with excellent oral and written communication skills, capable of working independently when necessary.
- Exhibit the ability to thrive and adapt in a fast-paced, high-growth, and rapidly changing environment.
- Be self-driven and capable of managing a diverse, high-volume workload; quickly build productive relationships in a high-performance setting.
- Display strong organizational skills with effective time and activity management capabilities.
- Possess the ability to apply entrepreneurial strengths in a driven, forward-thinking manner.
- Be adept at presenting and educating effectively to all levels within an organization.
- Be highly motivated to achieve financial success and earn competitive commission in return for over-achievement of results.
