About the Role
The Sales Engineer at Fireblocks is a customer-facing pre-sales specialist responsible for positioning TRES Finance - a Fireblocks company - for finance, accounting and operational stakeholders. The role sits at the intersection of finance operations, accounting workflows, and digital asset infrastructure.
Sales Engineering & Customer Engagement
- Lead discovery sessions with finance, accounting and operations stakeholders.
- Position TRES Finance within existing accounting and financial operations environments.
- Shape solution narratives connecting digital asset activity to accounting outcomes.
- Deliver high-quality product demonstrations tailored to finance teams.
- Support proof-of-value activities and technical validation during sales cycles.
Accounting & Financial Operations Expertise
- Demonstrate knowledge of accounting workflows, reconciliation, and reporting cycles.
- Understand reporting requirements for finance teams and necessary data structures.
- Engage confidently using finance and accounting language and frameworks.
- Translate digital asset activity into clear accounting treatment and controls.
Digital Asset & Platform Knowledge
- Maintain understanding of blockchain fundamentals and custody models.
- Be conversant in DeFi concepts including lending, staking and liquidity pools.
- Translate complex technical activity into clear, finance-oriented narratives.
RFx, Demos, and Pre-Sales Operations
- Coordinate RFx responses ensuring technical and functional accuracy.
- Own demo environment readiness in partnership with TRES Finance teams.
- Support structured responses to finance, risk, and audit-related queries.
Enablement & Cross-Team Collaboration
- Enable Sales Engineers on TRES Finance capabilities and positioning.
- Act as subject-matter expert for joint Fireblocks–TRES Finance opportunities.
- Share field insights with Product, Sales and Customer Success teams.
Candidate Profile
Experience with accounting or finance operations and digital asset platforms is important. Prior customer-facing technical roles such as Sales Engineering or Solutions Consulting are desirable, as is fluency in ERP systems and reconciliation processes.
