Junior Copywriter

Where Will You Work?
Preference for candidates located in Portland, OR. Remote candidates in Central time zones willing to work West Coast hours may be considered. Flexible work arrangements are offered, with in-office work on Tuesdays and Thursdays. UK-based candidates will collaborate with global teams.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate on multi-channel creative concepts for various industries, ensuring they are on strategy and align with brand tone.
- Distill complex information into consumer-friendly content.
- Write copy from concept to completion, incorporating client input, agency team collaboration, and proactive research.
- Maintain a consistently high standard of work across various styles and voices.
- Manage a full workload efficiently, completing assignments correctly and on time, with regular status updates to team leaders.
- Effectively present work to supervisors, agency teams, and clients.
- Embrace a team culture built on positive, productive relationships.
- Stay updated on industry trends for creative inspiration.
Qualifications
- A portfolio showcasing creativity, conceptual thinking, and writing skills across various media is required.
- Six months to two years of experience in a creative department (agency or client-side) is required; internships and student-run agencies count.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PPT) and G Suite (Docs, Slides).
- Basic understanding of Adobe Creative Suite and Figma is a plus.
Anticipated Salary
40,000-55,000, commensurate with experience and location.
