The Role

FT Locations, a specialist division of the Financial Times, supports global investment through fDi Markets, a leading database for cross-border inward investment. As a Research Assistant - fDi Markets, you will conduct in-depth regional research, track companies, manage data, monitor global FDI trends, and assist with ad-hoc research tasks.

  • Research and identify inward investment projects from various sources
  • Conduct web-based research for deeper project insights
  • Input and update project data in the fDi Markets database
  • Monitor global trends and maintain a Trend Tracker
  • Support the sales team with regional data requirements

Required Skills & Experience

Possess an A-Level or above qualification, ideally in business, economics, or research. Exhibit excellent skills in Microsoft Office, strong interpersonal communication, and the ability to work independently with high organisation and planning abilities.

Desirable

A 2:1 or above degree in business, economics, or research, language proficiency, a sound understanding of global economic trends, and experience in online research or data management would be advantageous.
