About Figma
Figma is building a team of passionate creatives and builders on a mission to make design accessible to all. Our platform helps teams bring ideas to life—whether brainstorming, creating prototypes, translating designs into code, or iterating with AI. From idea to product, Figma empowers teams to streamline workflows, move faster, and work together in real time from anywhere in the world. Join us if you're excited to shape the future of design and collaboration!
We are seeking experienced full-stack engineers to join teams across Figma’s Growth and Monetization Engineering organization. This group encompasses several teams—including Growth, Billing, Enterprise, and Discovery—each tackling complex challenges that enable millions of users, from startups to Fortune 500 companies, to maximize their use of Figma. Depending on your team, responsibilities may include designing global-scale billing infrastructure, building secure enterprise access systems, enhancing user discovery and organization of work, or driving product-led growth and monetization initiatives.
As a Software Engineer, Growth & Monetization, you will design and scale reliable, secure, and intuitive systems that power collaboration across Figma’s product suite. You will play a key role in driving our rapid growth, global expansion, and evolving product surface area, working closely with cross-functional partners to ensure our technology meets the needs of our most sophisticated customers.
This is a full-time role that can be held from one of our US hubs or remotely in the United States.
What you’ll do at Figma:
- Design, build, test, and ship high-quality features across the stack, utilizing technologies like TypeScript, React, Ruby, Go, C++, and more.
- Own key parts of the product that significantly impact user experience, internal productivity, or revenue operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners in product, design, data science, support, and sales to shape product direction and solve complex problems.
- Operate and monitor the systems you build, maintaining a strong focus on reliability, security, performance, and user experience.
- Contribute to team culture by mentoring peers, providing feedback, and helping foster a collaborative and inclusive engineering environment.
We’d Love to Hear From You If You Have:
- 4+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a proven track record of shipping and maintaining complex systems or products in production.
- Full-stack experience with modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React/TypeScript) and back-end technologies (e.g., Ruby, Python, Go, PostgreSQL).
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with experience working effectively across functions.
Added Pluses:
- Experience with B2B SaaS, billing/payments infrastructure, developer platforms, or enterprise-scale systems.
- Familiarity with technologies such as Stripe, Salesforce, NetSuite, Snowflake, SCIM, SAML, or WebAssembly.
- A background in experimentation, observability, compliance automation, or internal tools development.
- Prior work on extensibility platforms (plugins, APIs, widgets), or experience contributing to open-source developer communities.
- Passion for crafting excellent developer or user experiences, and an eye for elegant, maintainable architecture.
- Enthusiasm for learning and teaching—whether mentoring teammates, leading initiatives, or sharing knowledge in code reviews or pairing sessions.
