About the Role

Figma is growing our team of passionate creatives and builders on a mission to make design accessible to all. As a Product Designer, Design Systems Features, you will shape the future of design system features in Figma by defining intricate details and collaborating with engineering, product, and design teams.

What You'll Do

  • Contribute to overall product strategy and direction.
  • Deliver and refine clear storytelling around product needs.
  • Work cross-functionally with product, engineering, design, and research teams.
  • Create and iterate on flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals.
  • Design and ship high-quality product improvements in the design editor.

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience designing intuitive, high-quality UX and UI for complex systems. You should be able to work independently through the design process from exploration to launch and have experience with complex or system-oriented experiences.

  • Strong eye for craft and polished interactions.
  • Experience building scalable design systems.
  • Ability to communicate design rationale and synthesize feedback.

Additional Qualifications

Extra plus if you have experience building and maintaining large-scale design systems, and if you excel at navigating ambiguity to create actionable design goals.
