About the Role
Figma is growing our team of passionate creatives and builders on a mission to make design accessible to all. As a Product Designer Design Systems Features, you will shape the future of design system features within Figma by defining the details of how design system components and variables work in the design editor, and how they interact holistically with other Figma products.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to product strategy and decision-making
- Deliver clear storytelling around product needs and opportunities
- Collaborate with product management, engineering, design, and research teams
- Create prototypes, high-fidelity visuals, and iterate designs
- Ship high-quality product improvements in the Figma Design Editor
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of experience designing intuitive UX and UI for complex systems, a strong eye for craft, and a track record in designing scalable, system-oriented experiences. You work independently from exploration through launch and can communicate design rationale effectively.
Nice-to-Haves
Experience with building and maintaining design systems at scale, comfort navigating ambiguity, and a generative mindset for creative problem-solving are advantageous.
